Formula1 Grand Prix of India Formula One Race

Formula1 Grand Prix of India held at Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The first event was scheduled to be held on October 30, 2011. The new race track was officially agreed and approved by Charlie Whiting On Sept. 1, 2011 and was confirmed to celebrate its inaugural race.

The race held at the Buddh International Circuit Greater Noida, 24 kms from New Delhi. The circuit is roughly 5.14 Kms or 3.19 Miles approx and is designed by designer Hermann Tilke. The track is spread to over an area of 875 acres. The seating capacity is speculated to be around 2,00,000. The entire tracks has 16 large scale medium speed corners where F1 cars will be lapping at 210 kms per hour. The back straight allows the cars to reach an average speed of 320 kms per hour which makes it the fastest tracks in the world. The approximate lap time is 1 minute 27 seconds.
